Swimming Pools 

The Barceló Santo Domingo has 2 magnificent outdoor swimming pools, as well as a thermal hot tub that is perfect for enjoying a restorative water experience. 

It also has a fantastic area with sun loungers and an excellent bar serving national and international drinks. Its location on the roof terrace allows visitors to enjoy stunning views  of the city.

·Santo Domingo City Tour | Half Day | Minimum of 2 people required. This excursion is carefully designed to show you the most important places in the city of Santo Domingo. This tour in a comfortable vehicle will allow you to see the colonial city, with its museums and architecture, as well as the modern city with its beautiful buildings. We’ll also stop off at a shopping centre in the heart of the city.

·Santo Domingo Night Tour | Only available on Thursdays | Minimum of 3 people required. Discover why the Dominicans always have a smile on their face. ·Altos de Chavón & Las Maravillas Caves | Minimum of 5 people required. Our first stop will be the Las Maravillas Cave, the first natural rock art museum in the Antilles, which is of great archaeological value. We will then continue our journey towards the Altos de Chavón, a live replica of a 15th-century Mediterranean village, with outstanding views of the Chavón River. It is a magical place, very popular with tourists, and is home to the most important art school in the country, as well as restaurants, a museum and a beautiful amphitheatre. The dunes are located on the Las Calderas peninsula, between the towns of Matanza, Las Calderas and Salinas (Peravia province).

You will discover how cocoa is planted, learn about harvesting, pruning, removing the cocoa pods and the post-harvest process, which includes fermentation and drying - which are crucial processes for producing high-quality cocoa.
